We are organizing an online Zoom gathering to hear directly from Twin Cities East Asian medicine practitioners about their lived experience working and caring for patients amid the ongoing ICE raids and immigration enforcement actions affecting their communities.
A group of practitioners from the Twin Cities: Minneapolis and Saint Paul will share their experiences with us. This conversation will center how they are navigating uncertainty, fear, and disruption while continuing to serve their patients and communities with skill, presence, and commitment. They will speak about what it is like to live and work under these conditions, how it affects their clinics and families, and what support is most needed right now.
The purpose of this gathering is twofold:
- to listen and bear witness to the realities our colleagues are facing, and
- to help our broader community understand concrete ways to offer support, solidarity, and care.
This is a space for shared humanity, practical understanding, and collective responsibility. All are welcome who wish to learn how to show up thoughtfully and meaningfully for our colleagues during this time.
