6 CLASS / 9 HOUR SERIES
Limited to 20 Participants.
In this class series, Holly Leever, LAc & FAMM will guide participants in learning to track and chart their own menstrual cycles using the Fertility Awareness Method. (See details below if you do not personally menstruate)*
Having studied with Sharon Weizenbaum for the past 10 years, I do not align with the practice of drawing Chinese medical diagnostic conclusions from the menstrual cycle chart.
Instead of the same old BBT information that I’m sure you have already learned about, this class will include detailed methods for tracking basal body temperature (BBT), cervical mucus and cervical position.
After laying the groundwork for accurate charting methods, we will then apply FAM as a tool for health assessment, pregnancy prevention and optimizing fertility outcomes.
*Details Regarding Non-Practitioner "Partners"
Practitioners that do not have a menstrual cycle (men, pregnant women, postpartum and postmenopausal women), can choose a partner that menstruates to work with throughout the series. This can be a partner, friend, family member or patient. Practitioners can also offer this series to additional patients for a reduced fee.
This series will take your ability to incorporate menstrual cycle charting into your Chinese medicine practice to the next level. We will cover the cascade of hormonal events that are involved in the female reproductive cycle as they relate to charting.
We will also go through optimal cycle parameters for each of the phases of the cycle and the foundational factors that must be in place for optimal cyclical health and fertility.
When we learn to assess the chart in a detailed way, BBT can give us so much more information than simply when ovulation is occurring. We can uncover metabolic and thyroid function issues, nutrient depletion or other issues we may otherwise not have been aware of.
Tracking cervical mucus using a specific and detailed method can help us to understand cervical health, nutrient deficiencies, gut issues, suboptimal hormone levels and more!
Learning FAM can empower women to take their fertility into their own hands (literally). Whether you are looking to uncover better body literacy, for a safe and effective form of natural pregnancy prevention or are preparing for pregnancy, this series is for you!

"This has been such an incredible journey and has made me feel so connected with my body like I’m working with it instead of against it. And let you know what an impact your work and wisdom has had on my life. I feel so much less anxious — in fact, I feel excited — about the state of my fertility and health."

My name is Holly Leever and I have been a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist for 10 years. I am also a Fertility Awareness Method Educator. My vision is for all women to have access to information about how their body works and how to optimize their health and fertility. In addition to providing body work to optimize fertility outcomes, I also teach women how to track and chart their cycles using the Fertility Awareness Method.
Teaching women to chart is only half of what I do. The other half is interpreting the chart to determine the appropriate plan of action to bring her body back into balance. Enhanced fertility unfolds naturally as the hormones and cycle become optimized and regulated through diet and lifestyle modifications, targeted supplementation and herbal medicine.
